we love our dad!

My kids have the best dad! He is definitely the "fun"one. We wanted to treat him right this year so we let him be in charge of the whole weekend. Our Saturday started with breakfast at The Breakfast Nook, our favorite breakfast place. Then we went downtown Coeur d'Alene to check out "Car d'Alene". We saw lots of cool old cars and lots of cool old guys in lawn chairs sitting in front of their cars. It made me want to have a classic car hobby when I grow up. Unfortunately, it started to rain so we didn't stay too long. We had a wonderful weekend together. This summer was unusual because we got to spend so much time with Jacob, usually we just get Sundays. A Saturday spent like this, just wandering around, was completely new. Lucky us!
